Tell me and I'll forget. Show me and I'll remember. Involve me and I'll understand...

A little about myself

Well....lets for starters see....what can I say about myself? Hmm.....well let get started. I'm really a super hero in disguise..........no seriously just ask anyone I know. Well.....wait a second...that wont work, cause they only know me as Tek Joe......not my super hero side. Well so much for that idea and proving it. Guess you'll just have to take my word for it. I do have a cape if that helps?

When i'm not out fighting crime I work out on Vandenberg Airforce base doing IT work, my previous job was at the Santa Maria Times wich was an adventure.

I enjoy tweaking custom systems. The last system I completed I have since put it here online. Ok.... if you want to see it ha ha....click here

Another thing I enjoy is updating my website www.dreamersinkart.com for everyone else to enjoy. I created this site out of needing something to do online when I got bored while surfing. So now you can find anything from online music videos, to tips and tricks for spyware removal and detection, to wallpaper, and even get to play in my arcade! But it first started when I wanted to create a site to host my art gallery and display all my art. I have put many, many hours into it....just like I did designing this site.

See I used to work as everything...and anything that paid me......then one day....I discovered the internet and that was it! That messed me all up! ha ha.....well that was just the beginning of this long technological journey....which 10 years later...i'm still learning and growing in all ways....so much thanks go to INTERNET CHATROOMS! ......seriously though I havent been to a chatroom in over 5 years....just dont see a need or have time to do that stuff anymore. I did work for AOL at one time....but I did that mostly for the free internet....but then when DSL came around...FORGET IT! I left that ISP in a heartbeat.

My online name is DREAMER. I applied the name to my site "Dreamers Ink Art" because I learned how to draw in a dream one night when I was in kindergarten.....next day when I woke up first thing I did was grab a piece of paper and a crayon and drew what I saw in my dream.....and it worked! So later on when I was a teenager I started focusing on my art more and more. I have been involved with airbrushing, oil painting, charcoal sketches, colored pencil work, black and grey pencil work and my favorite medium....tattooing. Started tattoo'ing when I was 15 then stopped when I was 21. I will never forget the many late nights and weird places I tattooed at. I started the hard way and made my own needles and machines etc. I've pushed ink in the oddest places and have been in the weirdest situation you could imagine. All in the name of art too! From sitting on milk crates to putting "void" stamps on people that just got the name they are stamping out the previous week. Anyhow those days are long gone. Nowadays I'm very strict on who and where I ink at. I am Blood Borne Certified and take the medical side of tattooing very serious. I treat everyone as if they have every disease known to man. Nothing personal but it's for both our benefits. Once again this is a subject/topic that I could go on and on about..... Over the years I have made lots of memories that some I would rather forget and some that allowed me to make friends and bonds with people who have a connection to my art. I never really got my chance to hop into a shop part time like I have always wanted to. I would even consider full time. Eventually I would like to run my own art studio, something small and private where I can exercise my ability with art and the different mediums. I even have my idea of what my studio will look like when I get one. So I'm keeping my art up to date as much as possible here on my dot com. As for what I do during hte week? I found a major interest in technology and studied everything technology related. But I've returned back to my 1st passion of art on skin. And have been working on my portfolio. I'm having more fun this time around than ever before. So glad I'm back. You can see some of my works in my tattoo gallery. And I'm sorry if I spilled a lil bit too much of my dreams lol
